RUCODEM announces the composition of the Board of Directors for
the new mandate (May 2026 – April 2029)
RUCODEM - The Romanian Union of Cosmetics and Detergent Manufacturers announces the composition of the new Board of Directors, elected following the General Assembly of Members held at the end of March 2026.
Maria Camelia Sur, Global Product Stewardship Director Procter & Gamble South-East Europe and Turkey & Caucasians has been elected as President of RUCODEM for the next term. Andreia Stan, Product Safety & IMS manager Henkel Romania and Camelia Petre, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Director L'Oreal Romania together with members Emanuel Guțan, Country Manager CEE South, Finance Manager CEECentral & South Ecolab GmbH and Monica Tamaș, General Manager UnileverRomania & Moldova, Unilever South Central Europe, will join the management team as Vice-President.
Upon taking office, the President of the Board of Directors of RUCODEM reaffirmed the commitment to the responsible and sustainable development of the cosmetics, detergents and cleaning products industry in Romania.
The structure of the Board of Directors reflects the diversity and expertise of companies in the sector, strengthening the role of RUCODEM as a dialogue partner in the relationship with the authorities, the economic environment and the relevant European organizations. RUCODE member companies aim to promote high standards of product responsibility and safety for both consumers and the environment.
"The management of RUCODEM will continue to coordinate the strategic directions of the association, in line with European legislative developments and the priorities of the local industry. It will also continue to support OECD accession efforts as a key project for Romania.
RUCODEM will continue to work to ensure a predictable legislative framework and to support the competitiveness of the Romanian industry at European level", said Maria Camelia Sur, President of RUCODEM.
